The single-piece windshields are made of multiple layers of impact-resistant acrylic plastic and are approximately one inch thick. They meet bird strike requirements of FAR Part 25 up to 325 knots indicated airspeed, allowing high approach speeds that keep you ahead of airline traffic. They are electrically heated for defogging.
